The main idea of the project  “Prague University Analytical Centre for Health, Food Safety and Environmental Protection”  (reg. number CZ.2.16/3.1.00/22197) is to create a unique, integrated centre covering basic research in the fields of analytical chemistry, medicine, nutrition and environmental protection in order to improve the quality of immaterial aspects of Prague, Czech Republic, European Union inhabitants.

The aim of the project is creating centre comprising state-of-the-art analytical instruments and knowledgeable experts in the fields of analytical, medicinal, environmental and food chemistry in an advanced university workplace, which is a traditional source of inspiration, information and an indicator of the development in the field of basic research for further applications and commercial domains. The exceptional feature in Czech Republic is that the whole centre will be covered with Center for Biometrology and Metrology in Chemistry coordinating establishment of quality system in all laboratories that belong to the centre and for all developed methods as well as making an effort to integrate all measuring methods into the national metrological system.
